There are ten households in all. The individual houses are the place where a very important part of the
residents life happens. There is an intensive social life. Parties, outings and lots of interaction when sharing the dayly house work routine. Residents are encouraged to plan and set up a party for example.This way, besides attaining practical domestic skills, the individuals grow towards more independence, but also learn the importance of interdependence. |

The main house, a 300 year old Jacobean mansion centre of a thirteen acre estate, accommodates two households of the ten households. It also hosts offices and a multipurpose meeting room. Four houses are located in the surrounding lanes. |
